The Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) is the pre-competitive platform representing the sporting goods sector in Europe. We advance our members’ priorities and promote initiatives that benefit the industry, EU citizens, and society at large.
Based in Brussels, at the heart of European institutions, FESI gives sporting goods companies a coherent and influential voice in Europe, enabling them to leverage their expertise and benefit from the EU’s single market of nearly 500 million consumers.
FESI represents around 1,800 manufacturers—covering 85% of the European market—through national federations and directly affiliated companies. Small and medium-sized enterprises make up 70–75% of our membership. Together, the European sporting goods industry employs over 700,000 people and generates an annual turnover of €81 billion.
